Survived by his wife Heather, daughters, Jackie (Matt), Sacha (Bruce), grandchildren, Kyle, Kelsea, Josh, Jacob, Jeremy and Justin and great-grandson Kenny. He was predeceased by his parents, Alvin and Elaine Smith.
Dale attended Horton District High School and Studied welding at Kings Regional Vocational School. He served 28 years in the Canadian Armed Forces. He worked for Trimac Transportation as Branch Manager and worked for Nova Truck Center until his death. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.
