Born in Halifax, he was the son of John and Marian (nee Carmicheal) Hingston
David or “Bones” as he was formally known by family and friends was a loving, hardworking and selfless person who dedicated his life to his family and friends and was a bright light in so many peoples lives. Bones was an incredible friend, son, brother, uncle, nephew and father to his dog Jake.
David loved to socialize and chat everywhere he went; he loved so many and many loved him. Bones loved watching sports; cheering on the Buccaneers, the Habs and the Blue Jays. He often watched these games with his Father Jack. Dave loved spending time with his mother Marian; they often had a coffee together and played crib. David loved his nieces and nephews very much and never missed an opportunity to brag about them to anyone that would listen. Dave also took great pride in his many friendships. He was an incredible friend.
Some of David’s happiest times were spent with his beloved dog Jake. We as a family take comfort in knowing they are reunited once again.
Anyone that had the pleasure of knowing Dave, knows the loving, kindhearted man he was. He will be missed deeply.
