It is with great sadness that we share that David passed away suddenly on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020 at the QEll hospital in Halifax at age 65. David was predeceased by his parents Alice and Arnold Hobin. He is survived by his sister Sharon Hobin (George Habib) and niece and nephews Sara, Tim and Daniel and several cousins. He will be missed by good friend Bruce, the team at Special Olympics Bowling, Boxing Day Girls, his wonderful friends Judy and Darrall, Lorraine and Mike as well as friends and neighbours in Ontario and Nova Scotia. Our great thanks to the amazing paramedics as well as the wonderful nurses and doctors at the QEll ICU. David loved to laugh, go to the movies with his buddies and be with family. Donations in David’s name may be made to Special Olympics Nova Scotia or Nova Scotia Lung Association. Funeral arrangements have been delayed until we can celebrate David’s life this summer.
