Deborah Joan Wilson

Wilson, Deborah Joan-age 75 of Halifax passed away peacefully the morning of April 7, 2026 at home. She was born in Halifax and was a daughter of the late Edward and Bertha Wilson. Debbie was a civilian member of the RCMP who served for 25 years in communications at H Division Headquarters and as a 911 operator. After retirement she volunteered at Northwood Halifax for a few years. Debbie enjoyed reading and learning computer programs. She enjoyed helping people in her volunteer work.

She leaves behind three brothers, Edward (Cathy) Wilson of Timberlea, Robert Wilson of Halifax, and Michael (Shirley) Wilson of Chilliwack, BC; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Bertha (White) Wilson; brother, Ken (Bev) Wilson; sister-in-law, Germaine Wilson; sister, Pamela Beales; brother-in-law, Ronald Beales and nephew, Clifford Beales.

Cremation has taken place under the care of J.A. Snow Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
