It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the unexpected passing of Donna Kimberlee Wolfe (Robson), who left us on Wednesday morning, February 19, 2025, at home in Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia with family present. She was born on August 29, 1956, the daughter of Kenny and Sheila Robson (Mosher).
As a young girl growing up in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, Donna was an accomplished Highland Dancer, and later, a force to be ‘reckoned with’ in High School field hockey. She was married on July 28th, 1979, to Colin Wolfe, and had two sons, Duncan and Daryl. Donna was a dedicated mother, and despite a long history of medical challenges, she never let it interfere with the needs of her family, or putting a smile on her face. Even with the debilitating effects of arthritis, she was an avid painter, producing numerous craft pieces and paintings, on multiple platforms, canvas, wood and glass. Donna spent many years living in the Southern US and was proud to identify as a citizen of both countries.
Donna is survived by her husband Colin Wolfe, Beaver Bank, and son Duncan and Laquisha Wolfe (Scruggs), Halifax and Darly Wolfe, Beaver Bank, grandsons Triston, Brett, Cole and granddaughters Jada, Isabella and Aliza; many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews (natural/adopted/foster), too many to list, but loved them all unconditionally. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Kenny and Shiela Robson, her sister Debbie Robson and brother Michael Robson.
Donna lived her life to the fullest and found peace and happiness in bringing the love of Christ to those around her. She measured her life’s success in the success of those closest to her, family and friends. Donna was loved by many and will be truly missed by those who knew her.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm on Sunday March 2, 2025, at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax, Pastor Tim Cook presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Donna’s name to Hope for Wildlife (hopeforwildlife.net).
