Born on September 16, 1948, he was the son of the late William and Vera (Schnare) Kidston. He is survived by his wife, Bernice (Marryatt), his son Jeffrey (Amanda) and his two grandsons, Mason and Jaxon.
Predeceased by his sister, Ruth (Nathan) Scott, mother and father-in-law, Margaret and Hector Marryatt, and brother-in-law Allen Marryatt.
Doug was a member of Local 625 for more than 56 years.
Special thanks to the staff of Lupine Hills, Northwood, Bedford who took excellent care of Doug for the past three years.
As per Doug’s wishes, there will be no funeral or celebration of life.
