He was a loving, kind, honest easy going father and grandfather who always had a smile on his face. In 1967 Earl moved his family from Truro to Halifax to open Scotia Auto Radio. He loved music and hockey and was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs fan, as well as a long time Fairview and Centennial Minor Hockey Volunteer.
He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Ruth (Carr); brothers Guy and Gordon; sisters Edna McVean and Hilda Wier. He is survived by his sons Ralph (Roselle d’Entremont), Lee, daughter Joyce (Bruce Roberts), grandchildren Scott, Brianne and Leo; sister Verna Knowles, Sackville.
Funeral service to be held Tuesday January 3, 2017, 10:30 at St Benedict Parish; burial following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Sackville.
