Halifax, Born in 1922 she passed away peacefully at home on Monday. Eileen was a daughter of the late Edmond L. and Beatrice (Dimock) MacDonald. Following her education at Halifax Ladies College and Netherwood School in Rothesay NB, she remained in Halifax all her life. In the early years Eileen worked for the Royal Bank of Canada; she surrounded herself with wonderful life long friends and her family that she loved so dear. Eileen is the last surviving member of her immediate family. A fun loving and caring Aunt known to her several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews as “Eigee”. She was predeceased by brothers Edmund, Ian and Ralph MacDonald and sister Frances Mann. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Jan Rorai for her wonderful care and love over the past 20 years.
