Elizabeth Ann Flemming

Elizabeth was born on March 5, 1958 in Halifax and spent most of her life on George Dauphinee Avenue, where everyone knew her. After her mom and dad passed away she went to live at Bonnie Lea Farm where she became a part of large family, , had many new friends and enjoyed many outings. She resided there until November 2022 when her health began to fail and she needed more care. She moved to Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Middleton where she stayed until October 2023, when she was transferred to Northwood Centre in Halifax. The staff at Northwood took very good care of her until she passed on November 28, 2023.

Liz was involved in Special Olympics for many years in track and field, skating and bowling.

She is survived by her broth Doug (Anne); nephews DJ and Robert (Anna) and brother in law Greg Varga. Predeceased by her parents, and sister Suzanne, as well as many aunts and uncles.

The family would like to thank the staff at Northwood for their care and kindness.

Funeral service 2pm Tuesday December 5, 2023 at St Catherine of Siena Church on Bayers Road. Private family burial. Donations in Liz's memory may be made to Bonnie Lea Farm or Special Olympics
