Elizabeth Ann MacDonald, of Halifax NS, passed away peacefully at Ocean View Manor in Eastern Passage on Tuesday, December 8 2015. Born in Saint Margaret's Village, Cape Breton on April18th, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sarah Jane (Kanary) MacDonald.
Elizabeth led a long, dignified, and peaceful life in very good health. She spent many years caring for her mother and was loved and respected by everyone that knew her. Elizabeth maintained her wit and spirit until her last days and will be sadly missed. She is survived by her nieces June Dominix (and children Nicole and Darren Dominix), Sherry Neufeld, her nephew Wayne Conrad and by her newer family members at Ocean View Manor where she received such wonderful care over her last few years.
It was a honour to know her and we are grateful that she enjoyed such a long, healthy life.
