Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late John Fenton and Ellen Mullins (Downie).
Predeceased by her husband, George (Gus) Picco; sister, Marie Gerhardt.
Survived by her daughter, Joanne (Denis), Halifax; son, Steven (Jackie) , Toronto; sister, Joan (Howard) ON; brother, James (Barbara) California; 4 grandchildren, Jean-Michel, Benjamin, Sidney and Rachel, and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax (455-0531). Graveside service to take place on Tuesday, June 24 at 11:00 am at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
