Evelyn F. Thomas

“Essie” of Halifax passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 in Arborstone Enhanced Care. Born in Fairview she was a daughter of the late J. Bert and Lillian(Cook)Macdonald. She is survived by son Ken MacQuarrie(Patricia), Halifax, daughter, Heather(Bee Batchelor), Halifax, grandchildren, Neil and Carl MacQuarrie, Jonathan, Jordan and Bethany Draper; brother Aubrey; sister-in-law Florence. She was predeceased by her first husband Neil MacQuarrie, second husband Cyril Thomas, daughter Glenda MacQuarrie, brothers Randall and Gordon, sisters Jean(Martin), Clare(Crowe) and Mona(Betty)LeGallais. She was a member of Armcrest Chapter #45 OES and The Marshettes. She was a past Queen of the Daughters of the Nile, Athena Temple.
