Age 87 of Burgeo, N.L., passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 at home. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather Frank Moulton who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Dad was born in Burgeo, N.L., and was an avid salmon fisherman who loved spending time on Grandy's Brook, N.L. He loved playing horseshoes at the cottage and won many family tournaments. He also enjoyed playing pool and a good game of cribbage with friends and family. He loved to take long walks with his sheltie, Jake. He had a 40-year career on the Halifax Harbour Tugboats. He is survived by his loving wife Lottie of 67 years; daughters, Maud Leblanc (Dan) and Sharon Horwich (Mike); and son, Gary Moulton (Colleen). He had six grandchildren: Kristopher Moulton, Karen Williams, Claire Horwich,
Peter Horwich, Angela Al-Shaghay and Marc Leblanc, and four great-grandchildren: Henry Hurley, John Hurley, Elora Moulton and Zara Al-Shaghay. He was predeceased by his father, Lewis Moulton; mother, Maud Moulton (Forward); brothers, Edgar and Lambert; sisters, Maizie, Hannah, Hilda and Gwen. The visitation will be held in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. on Thursday, September 7 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held in Trinity Anglican Church, 321 Main Ave, Halifax, on Friday, September 8 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Conrad officiating, with the burial to follow in St. John's Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada. To the wonderful staff of the Dixon Dialysis Unit for looking after Dad so well, we will be forever grateful. He loved you all.
