Freda Margaret Stubbs

Born in Wentworth Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Norah Brown.

Freda was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her daughter Betty Sketchley, of Halifax; son Stephen (Deneine Drover), of Sharon, Ont.; four grandchildren Derek (Donna) Sketchley, Leanna (Sean) Keith, Ronald (Jennifer) Stubbs, Tammatha (Christopher) Knight; six great-grandchildren Emma, Rayne, Victor, Sarah, Brooke, Evan; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Victor James Stubbs.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 12:30 pm until Funeral time at 2:30 pm, both in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax.

Burial will take place at later date in Lachute, Quebec.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the QEII Health Sciences Centre or a charity of your choice.
