Gail Grace Currie

CURRIE, Gail Grace – 71, of Halifax passed away peacefully at the QEII Health Sciences Centre on December 4th with her family at her side. Gail was a Registered Nurse from the Halifax Infirmary School of Nursing. She was O.R. Supervisor at the IWK and and Director of Nursing, and O.R. Supervisor at the Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, Arthur and Hilda (Slavin) Anderson, sister Valerie McRobie, and brothers Arthur Anderson and Michael Anderson. Gail is survived by her son Jeffrey, brother Barry (Marilyn) Anderson, Sackville, sisters Judith Morrison (Halifax), Mary Sweeney (Yarmouth), and Michele (Stephen), Fall River, and several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 6th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax (902) 455-0531. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 7th at 10:00am in St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, 1714 St. Margaret’s Bay Rd. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
