It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the passing of Geoffrey Hurshman l, 62, on April 14th, 2026, in Halifax Nova Scotia. He passed peacefully with his family by his side, after a long and challenging fight with lung disease.
Geoff is survived by his wife Denise (Evong), children Emma and Isaac Hurshman, sister Katheryne (Dave) Whitehead and his nieces Sandi, Cindy and nephews Alan and Anthony and predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Eileen (Corkum) Hurshman, sister Cheryl and brother-in-law Elmer (Steele) and Margaret (Larkin).
Geoff was a hard working man who loved his family and worked tirelessly to provide a good life for them; he deeply valued keeping his family closed and was dedicated to caring for his parents.
A service will be held at St Luke’s United Church, 5374 St Margaret’s Bay Road, at 11:00 am on Saturday April 18th, 2026.
