George Joseph Caissie

Age 75 Young, …….

George passed away in the early evening hours of August 24th, with his loving family

at his side. As the eldest of nine children, George leaves behind a vacancy that will

not be filled. The love in his life, Rose … (married 54 years) will deeply miss him. His

children, Natalie, (husband Maurice, sons Cody, Luc, Gabriel), and Brian, ( wife

Lauren) will, as well, forever miss George.

With many years in the military as a world-travelling musician, George made many

friends, and continued contact with many after retirement. Music was ever on his

mind, and he loved JAZZ…… (the good stuff !) He continued performing until

recently.

Another strong passion George enjoyed was sailing. Being on the water with the

wind and waves was relaxing and exciting for him. He always smiled when his grand

sons would say …….. “le bateau”. George was generous with his time and experience

in showing others how to sail.

Private ceremony to be held shortly.
