MALLETT, George Arthur (1935 - 2026), age 90, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026 at Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late John and Madeline (Muise) Mallett.
George was predeceased by his wife Suzanne; brothers Everett and John; and sisters Barbara, Beatrice, Margaret, Mary, Muriel and Shirley.
He is survived by his children Gary (Jackie) Mallett, Debra (Courtney) Sutherland, Steven (Alison) Mallett, and Linda (Pat) Neal; his sister Martha Copeland; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A veteran of the Canadian Air Force, George worked in the aviation industry for his entire career, and travelled extensively throughout the world. After retirement, George returned to Nova Scotia, and enjoyed playing golf with family and friends.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and no funeral service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
