Born in West Dover, he was the son of the late Clyde Guy Allen and the late Margaret May Morash of West Dover.
Dad was always a hard worker, always there to lend a hand or help in anyway if possible. He was a fisherman in his younger years and worked for many years as grounds keeper for Dalhousie University. Dad was known to help the fisherman around Dover by either mending their nets or knitting the heads for their lobster traps. Dad took great pride in his property and home, keeping the land clean and his grass always mowed. It always had to be done a certain way to meet his approval.
His undying love for his wife and 2 daughters were evident in every way, making sure they were well taken care of and given what was needed. He loved his little doggie Spencer dearly to which he is now with in heaven. Dad will be missed dearly by all who knew him and our lives will not be the same without him but his suffering is now over. We love you dad/hunny rest easy now.
Survived by his loving wife Ruth of 58 wonderful years whom he loved more than life itself. His 2 beautiful daughters Wanda Allen (Darren) and Sherry Cunningham (Glenn). Along with his 2 grand-fur babies Dexter and RoZee. Sisters Doris Morash (Kenneth) of West Dover, Jean Sanford of Windsor, and Shirley Zwicker of Middle Sackville. Many nieces and nephews.
