As I sit here this morning. I am thinking of many things from the past. One thing that comes to mind is how proud my mother was of Gerald going to St FX and I do believe now that had a big impact on my going there which was one of the best decisions of my life.

Sincere sympathy's on hearing the loss of Gerry. I worked at Merchant Trust in the late 80's (a 1st and 2nd Mortgage Lending Firm) and met Gerry when he worked at MICC (Mortgage Insurance Company of Canada), along with Karen Wagner; Ruth Roussy; Sheila and Cindy (Debbie??). Our office also just happened to be accross the hall on the same floor of CIBC Building, Barrington Street wherein, I really got to know Gerry and his staff well.

Gerry was always jovial and quick-whitted and such a pleasure to work with. I am glad I was able to send my condolences and share my memory of him with you all.

Emily and family: I was so saddened to learn of Gerry's passing. Gerry had a tremendous positive impact on me. He was a pleasure to work with and a delight and privilege to know personally. He was my boss secondary; he was my friend first. In my experience, he always put his family first. When tough decisions had to be made, he made them based on what was right, not what would benefit himself. I would tease him on his height but he was a giant among men. "Dear brother, we shall meet again".
