HAINES, Gerald Bernard, 82 of Halifax passed away July 8, 2016. Born January 16, 1934, in Bridgewater, NS, he was the son of Pauline Crouse and Bernard Haines. He worked as an xray technician in the Halifax Infirmary and was a member of the Toastmasters Club, winning Speaker of the Year many times. He is survived by his sister Patricia Slauenwhite, and two nephews. Predeceased by brothers Douglas (in infancy) and Lawrence Haines. Funeral service to be held Thursday July 14, 2016 at 11:00am at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, Heather Williams officiating.
