Gilbert retired from Sobeys in 2000 with
Over forty five years in the grocery retail business. He held key executive positions including Senior VP Corporate Marketing and Real estate.
Gilbert leaves behind is wife Hazel Vienneau (Merrigan) of 46 years,
Survived by sons Bruce (Dawn) Vienneau, Marc (Susan) Vienneau,
Stepson Brent (Lynn) Roeding, eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home,
339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax on Monday October 6th from 5pm – 8pm
