Harold O. Beaver

BEAVER, Harold (Bud) Osborne - 83, Halifax passed away at the QEII, VG Site, on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Harold and Daisy (Butler) Beaver. He worked with LaFarge Cement for 33 years. Loved the outdoors and avid card player. Loved to travel.

He is survived by his wife Una (Mosher) Beaver. He is also survived by sisters Audrey Dodge of Halifax and Viola Markrette of Sackville, NS. He was predeceased by brothers William (Bill), James (Jim), Donald and Garneth.

A very special thanks to Francies Hirtle for all she has done for Bud and Una, VON, The Red Cross for coming to our home, all of the Palliative Care Unit at the VG Hospital, and all family and friends.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Memorial service will take place at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Timberlea on Wednesday, May 9th at 2:00pm. Interment at a later date.
