Hazel V. Pittman

PITTMAN, Hazel V. (Cave) – Passed away peacefully on September 14, 2011 at Northwood-Ivany Place, Bedford, NS in her 97th year. Born in Bay Roberts, NL, she was the daughter of the late George C. Cave and Elizabeth Ann (Snow) Cave.

Predeceased by beloved husband, Eric G. Pittman (Nov 2010) and loving son, E. David Pittman (May 2005), brother C. Wilson Cave of St. John’s, NL, Ivy Anthony, Evelyn Hampton of Toronto, Cavell Noseworthy of Whitborne, NL.

Leaving to mourn, loving daughter, Margo Stewart (Harvey) of Bedford NS and precious grandchildren Gillian Stewart of St. John’s NL, Christopher Stewart (Jill) and adorable great-grandchildren Michael and Ashleigh Stewart, all of Airdrie, AB, dear sister Clare Rowe and many nieces and nephews.

No flowers by request. The family will receive friends and relatives in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 from 2 - 3 pm. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Brookside Cemetery, Wardour Street, Bedford NS.

Thank you to the staff of Sandpiper Hills, Northwood-Ivany Place for the excellent care given, and a special thanks to Rev. Vince and Anne Ihasz whose presence meant so much.
