Closing in on a year and I miss you more than ever!

Today, I just heard the sad news that you have left us for that big golf course in the heavens. Even though I didn't pay much attention in your class you were a great teacher. I remember when you used to compliment your students by saying they had a big “C” for comprehension. As an adult I only wish I had gotten a couple of those big “C” s back then. R.I.P.

Sister Helen, you will be missed so much.  You blessed our lives with your kindess and I learned so much from you in the short time I taught along side you.  You will always be an inspiration to us and our prayers are with you.

Nellie taught me at Notre Dame until I graduated in '83.  We became good friends in 1990 when we entered the Notre Dame hockey pool together and we always remained great friends since.  My favourite memory of Nellie is of her choosing retired players or referees for our team.  We all  had a great laugh.   I miss you Nellie, rest in peace, say hello to Howie Morenz for me.

Now you have all the answers. Thanks for all the laughs and the fun times.

Nellie, thank you for being a very special person in my life. You were a mentor and you were a great friend to me. You made me do the Sun Run every year. I will never forget the last year (2011) we did it together when we jogged the full 10km and we beat our record time. Thanks for all the great memories.

Sister Helen, Nellie, thank you for the wonderful memories, especially the car stories, the computer stories, and especially for the years we worked together.

Nellie, thanks for evrthing whot you have done for me in Vancouver. And you are in prayers and hearts of all my family overhere in Croatia.

Nellie, Thank you for being wonderful addition to our lives. Ed, Lauren Kezia and I think of you often and we will always have a story and a memory to share. You have enriched our lives and we will always think of you as a dear friend, absent only in body, but never in spirit. I know that upon your entrance into heaven you made an appointment with God and the two of you are probably still debating many of the discussion topics we engaged in.
