James “Jim” Russell Singer (First Nations) age 70 formerly of Ontario, more recent of Prospect, NS passed away on January 12, 2015. Born in Halifax, NS he was the son of the late Russell and Cecilia (Gloade) Singer. Survived by his sisters; Sandra Scott (Alastair) of Halifax, Judy D’Ambrose of Halifax and Val Duggan (Joe) of Prospect; his brothers, Rex Singer (Barbara) of Sydney, NS and Clint Singer (Lorna) of Dartmouth. James was predeceased by his parents. Respecting Jim’s wishes there will not be a service. Cremation has taken place under the care of J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax.
