WOLFE, JOAN MARIE, 86 of Lakeside passed away November 15, 2023. Born May 11, a937 in Milton Queens County, she was the daughter of the late Ayrus and Thelma (Dean) Anthony Wentzell. Joan was employed with the Halifax, Bedford District School Board as a caretaker and retired in 1997. Mom enjoyed quilting, knitting, sewing and crocheting. Survived by her loving daughter Karen and her cat Lucy; brother Ayrus Wentzell, Angus Ontario; sisters Mary McCormick, (Fairview) and Frances (Hunt), Summerland British Columbia. Besides her parents, she was predecease by her husband Roger; sister, Etta Rice; stepfather, Virgil Fancy. Graveside service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Sackville.
