Daughter of Margaret McGovern Muir Sherwood and the late Thomas Muir and stepdaughter the late James Sherwood. Jo grew up in Grand Bay NB and Lower Sackville NS. She graduated from Sackville High School in 1978. She worked as an LPN and Anesthesia Technician in Halifax NS. She enjoyed her work and the fellowship of her colleagues until health issues forced an early retirement.
She was loved and is survived by sisters Lindsey Buchanan (Dale )Vanessa and Laura and Holly Muir (Ron Olson) Breaugh, Genevieve and Kiera and brother Stuart Muir (Valerie) Alex and Rick. Celebration of her life will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to any animal rescue charity or another of your choice.
