Phyllis, I was saddened to read of John's passing, but he has been set free of his illness. I was one of the lucky ones that John let into his inner circle, enabling me to admire his intelligence, quick wit and humour. I am so glad you found each other and you could give John so much missing in his life. 
May you keep your memories of happy times to sustain you as you move forward.  All the best in the future.

Phyllis, I am so very sorry to hear of John's passing.  My deepest Condolences to you.

My Darling John, I met you in 1999, when you first spoke to me at the office.  We became friends over the next 2 years, before being shocked to realize the depth of our feelings. We did not act upon them until March 8, 2002. We moved in together June 1, 2002. Our time together was remarkable. The last few years were hard, but we had each other to continue to talk with and even to laugh with. No pun was too large a reach for your sense of humour! I am so sad that you had to go, but glad that you suffer no more. See you in the next life! Great love always, and thanks for the happiness -  Your adoring wife, Phyllis 



Dear Phyllis and family,

I was saddened to hear of John Peter's (often just referred to as JP by his friends when we were all young) passing and also that he had not been well in recent years.  We spent many hours together while growing up in the Brookside Avenue neighborhood and then later at St. F.X.  

John was a chess wizard as well as a brilliant card player.   He and I were bridge partners from an early age and, because of his superior talent, we won a number of tournaments.  We also spent numerous hours on the golf course missing our final university exam, it turned out, because of this (luckily our professor was also a member of the local duplicate bridge club).
 
I am sure John Peter took great pride in all of your accomplishments and is fortunate that his legacy lives on with all of you and your lives' fulfilment.
