John Spencer Douglas Langor

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Spencer Douglas Langor in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on December 12th, 2025. Born in Clarenville, Newfoundland, on December 29th, 1951. The son of John and Margaret Langor. John is survived by his mother, Margaret Butler (Petty – Langor), Wife Janice, 3 children, John (Tracy), Craig (Chrystal), and Chantel (Dustin), 2 grandchildren, Kaylee and Alex. Pre-deceased by his stepfather, Martin Butler and sister Judy English

John was known for his quick wit and playful sense of humour, as well as his deep love for music. He had a remarkable ability to bring any instrument to life the moment he placed his hands upon it.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date in the New Year. You will be missed Dad, until we see you again.
