Condolences to the family and friends of John. As a coworker, John was always smiling,  had a warm greeting and was ever the optimist. 

Our hearts go out to John’s family and friends at this sad time.
I had the pleasure of working with Johnny for many years at LGS. He had a way of making work a blast with his humour and actions. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. RIP

I worked at Lambton GS  and remember john's smile and his great sense of humour.  It was a pleasure to know John.

How do I start? John McLin, he was the next Bobby Orr of Lambton Hockey. A stand up defence man with a booming wrist shot. A great friend and coworker. RIP brother, we will all be with you someday.

I have great memories of John, especially of hearing him shout. "hey asshole." and when you turned around he would say not you! It was an honour to know and work with him.

Mine and Barb’s condolences. We were neighbours of John’s and shared some good backyard memories and beers. I played hockey with John on Sundays and Wednesdays (which he organized and ran).  A better guy would be hard to find. I worked indirectly with John at Lambton supplying him with material for jobs. He was always happy and no bother to work with. We definitely have lost one of the good ones.

John is going to be missed by a lot of people. Great guy can't say enough about him. It was a pleasure to have shared some great times and lots of laughs together! Good bye my friend.

So sorry to hear of John’s passing. I played hockey with him on Wednesday’s in Mooretown, and he was always the life of the dressing room. On our yearly hockey tournament John always kept the morale up, even when the boys were a little under the weather. He will be greatly missed by the LGS Hockey team as a player and a person, Rest In Peace Johnny.

My condolences to the McLin family. I worked with John and the job was always full of laughter and good times. John was always the the rock that held together both Wed hydro hockey and Sunday mornings. He will missed greatly.

We are so sorry to hear about John.  Memories from OPG, hockey tournaments and our fishing days with him while he visited us in North Bay will always be treasured.  We are thankful to have had a good talk with him a month ago even though he was cursing being in the hospital.  Sending our condolences to his family.  Special thanks to his niece for being there for him during these past couple of tough months.  RIP John. 

John and I played hockey together for years. He was a great guy and I will miss him.
