Joseph Louis Boudreau

Louis Joseph Boudreau, born Louisdale, Cape Breton, of Waverley NS, passed away Aug 11, 2013. Leaving behind his best friend and wife of 53 years, Olive – Also leaving behind his sister Edna (Art) of Cape Breton, 3 kids Carrie (Owen), Bernie (Catherine), Steven (Pamela), 6 grandkids Cassandra, Brittany, Mitchell, Kristopher, Justin, Nicole, and great granddaughter, Maisie. Louis is predeceased by his parent, Margaret (nee Marchand) and James Boudreau; brothers Edgar, Frank, George, and Jim. Louie was a professional painter for the last 35 years. He retired in 1999 but he was far too active to do any less than three days of painting for friends and family, which he loved, leaving the weekends for him and his wife to travel the Maritimes as a dedicated fan of auto racing. He enjoyed many sports and there was no better place for friends and family to gather to watch hockey then Louie’s place. He will be sorely missed by his family and many, many friends. Funeral services will be held at St Rose of Lima Church, 9 Jamieson Dr, Fall River, NS on Thursday, Aug 15 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Prostate Cancer Canada.
