June Marie McNeil

Her family regret to inform all of the passing of their dear Mother, age 77 of Halifax on the morning of December 31, 2014. She passed away peacefully in the Infirmary, QE II surrounded by loved ones. Born June 2, 1937, to the late Arthur and Josephine (Lelacheur) Rennie.

Survived by two sisters; Marguerite McNeil of Halifax and Joan Morris of Dartmouth; children, Kevin (Pam), Mount Uniacke, Donna (Chris Scott), Upper Sackville, Ann (Clayton Merrick), Lower Sackville, Paul (Laura), Mount Uniacke, John (Jackie), Cole Harbour, Holly (Kevin Oickle), David (Elizabeth), Middle Sackville, and Rhonda of Dartmouth, NS; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Predeceased by husband of 39 years, John Frederick (Jack), two grandsons, John Scott and Ethan Merrick; brothers, Horace, Arthur, Raymond, and Gerald; sisters, Dorothy Parnell, Evelyn Mosher, and Joyce Stone.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS, 902-455-0531. Visitation will take place 7 to 9 PM on Monday, January 5, 2015 and the memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 11 AM at J.A. Snow Funeral Home. Burial to take place at St. John’s Cemetery, 6 Bedford Highway, Halifax.
