Born in Bathurst, NB he was the son of Herman and Edna (Vienneau) Caissie of Bathurst. Ken enjoyed bowling, Dingo, scratching lottery tickets and listening to his AM/FM pocket radio.
He is survived by his wife Mary Lou (Clawson), brothers David, Gary, Philippe (Ginette), Claude, Gerald (Darlene), Denis (Shirley) and a sister Diane Hachey (Roland) and an adoptive sister Patricia Arseneau all of Bathurst, NB., sisters-in-law Peggy Nicholson and Christine (Mike) O'Leary both of Cape Breton, also many nieces, nephews and great nieces and a great nephew. He was predeceased by his father Herman Caissie.
As per Ken's wishes his, his body has been cremated under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home, Halifax. Burial will take place at a later date in Englishtown, Cape Breton.
Donations in Ken's memory can be made to the Society of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Nova Scotians.
