Celebrating the Life of Lee Fraser, June 17, 1941 - May 29, 2026.

Lee Fraser, 84, of East Dover, Nova Scotia, passed away on May 29, 2026. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Brother of Doreen and Judy (deceased). Survived by his wife Beverley, daughter Shelley (& Bill), son Jason (& Jennifer), grandchildren Jackson, Nicolas, and Abbey.

Funeral service will be held at Bayside Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5. Address: 4633 Prospect Road, Bayside.

At 4:00 pm, you are invited to celebrate Lee’s life with the music he loved at East Dover Community Hall located at 15 Learys Cove Road in East Dover.

Lee (known as Hon, Dad, Grandpa/Poppy, Bun or Bunny but never LeRoy) lived with a quiet appreciation for life's simple gifts—the beauty of the stars, the song of birds, the strength of the wind and water, and the comfort of his family, art, and favourite hymns.

These moments filled him with wonder, gratitude, and joy. In nature and in music, he found peace, and in that peace, he found home.

His favourite hymn:

How Great Thou Art

O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder

Consider all the worlds, Thy Hands have made;

I see the stars …
