Throughout his life Les was a member of the Halifax Fire Department, Freight handler’s Union, as well as co-owner of International Foundations.
A Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Les enjoyed travelling south, spending time at his “second home” in Morden with many Friends. He loved beating anyone at crib. Les is survived by his loving wife Dianne, daughter Kimberly (Andre Broussard), son Scott (Kimberley, grandchildren Parker, and Finnegan) who he loved dearly, sister Stephanie Peveril, his best friend/brother Murray Graves and family, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents (Herbert and Mae), brothers (Herbert, Milton, Ronald), sisters (Audrey and Diana).
Visitation will be held at J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax on Thursday March 6 from 4:00-7:00. Funeral will take place at J. A. Snow Funeral Home on Friday March 7, at 11:00 am, reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetic Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
