Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Lindsay and Muriel Cooper and was the last surviving member of his family.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy; sons Wayne (Prema), of Whites Lake and Kevin of Calgary; daughter Karen of Lower Sackville; granddaughter Vanessa; four nieces and one nephew.
He was predeceased by his brother Ron.
Cremation has taken place under direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Ellershouse Community Hall.
No flowers by request. Donations can be made in Len’s memory to the Nova Scotia Cancer Society.
