Margaret enjoyed bowling, knitting, cake making, and spoon collecting. She worked many of the events at St. Theresa’s Parish and volunteered for Oxford School.
Survived by her daughter, Marie (Robert) Roache; son, John James (Ferne Welsman) Chapman; brother, Joseph Small; grandchildren, Annemarie(Tim) Brightman, Jackie Roache, Steven Welsman, Emily Chapman; great grandchildren, Tanner and Hunter Brightman.
Predeceased by husband, John Gilbert Chapman; brother, Arthur Small; sister, Cecilia Small.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm in J.A. Snow Funeral home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax. Funeral Service to take place on Friday, July 8 at 2:00 pm in St. Theresa’s Parish, 6351 North Street, Halifax, with reception to following in the church hall (basement).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
