

Margie was Born in Halifax to the late John and Georgia Clarke and was one of 10 siblings.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Margie Publicover (Stephane) Bedford, son David Publicover (Anne) Hammonds Plains, daughter Carol Publicover (Dave) Eastern Passage, granddaughter Amanda Shaw (Chris) Bedford, grandson Daniel Publicover Hammonds Plains; sisters Gladys Daley, Beverly Fletcher (Donald), brothers Elroy Clarke (Connie), Doug Clarke (Shirley), Glen Clarke (Jacquie), several nieces and nephews, and her adored cat Tate. Margie was predeceased by husband Donald Publicover, father John Clarke, mother Georgia Clarke, brothers Reginald, George, Owen and Gordon Clarke. She was recently predeceased by her companion Wesley Hennigar.
Margie married the love of her life Don. She dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother and grandmother. Family was very important to her. Margie was caring, generous and always willing to help others. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, going for long drives and in her earlier years, stock car races. She was an avid bowler right into her 80’s and enjoyed the friendly competition.

Funeral service to take place at J.A. Snows Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax on Friday, February 17th at 10 am.
