

Born in San Diego, California, to the late Harry and Katherine (Bowden) Faulconer. Margot met her husband, Carl, while they attended San Diego State University in 1966, married in December 1968, and moved to Canada in September 1969.
Margot had many interests including her love of the French language, obtaining degrees from both Concordia and Lakehead University. Music was also a lifelong love expressed through her piano playing and choral singing. A good deal of her life outside her family centered on community non-profit organizations as a volunteer or staff administrator in areas that included education, the arts, sport and tourism.
Margot is survived by her husband Carl, son Russell (Kate), daughter Rachel (Chris Giacomantonio) and grandson Jacob. Also surviving are brother Keith Faulconer, sister A.T. Lynne, and nephews Joshua Faulconer and Ave Singh. She was predeceased by sister Tracy Faulconer and niece Heather Avery.
