Marguerite Helen MacDonald

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marguerite Helen MacDonald (Adams), RN, of Bedford, Nova Scotia, on Sunday, April 17, 2016. Born in Sydney, NS on March 22, 1948, Marguerite was a daughter of the late Norman and Jean Adams.

She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Keith.

Marguerite was a wonderful wife to David; mother to Kerry Anne (Ian) and Lisa (Pat); grandmother to Ryan and Emma Jean; sister to Norma (Norman) and good friend to many at The Tides. She will be dearly missed by all.

No visitation at her request. Funeral service will be held at Bedford United Church, 1200 Bedford Hwy, on Wednesday, April 20 at 11:00 am with Rev. Gloria Churchill officiating. Interment in Alfred Smith Cemetery, Sydney.

The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to all Palliative Care Team on 7A, VG Hospital, as well as the nursing staff on 5A who took such good care of Marguerite. Also special thanks to Rev. Gloria Churchill, Bedford and Rev. Thomas Whent, Sydney. In lieu of flowers, Marguerite would be pleased to have all donations made to either the Canadian Cancer Society or Multiple Sclerosis Society (MS).
