Marves Mitchell-Mansfield

Born in Garnish NL, She was a daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Thorne) Grandy.

Marves retired from Simpsons. She was a faithful member of the Salvation Army, member of the order of Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile.

Surviving are brothers, Curtis and Earl (Almeda) and sister, Elizabeth (Ray), sisters in law, Laruel and loved by many nieces and nephews.

Marves was predeceased her husband Donald and by siblings Dina (Bill), Howard (Lou), Ronald, Willis (Ada), Douglas (Jessie), and Wavey (Maxwell).

Visitation will take place from 7-9 pm on Wednesday November 18, 2015 in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. Halifax. Funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday November 19, 2015 in the Salvation Army Citadel, 50 Gesner St. Halifax. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.
