Mary Anne Lively

LIVELY, Mary-Anne Kateri – of Halifax, passed away on June 9, 2012 after a brief illness. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Parker and Mary (Cuvelier) Morash. After graduating St. Patrick’s High School in 1976, she began her career with Health Canada, Medical Services Branch, serving the Federal Government for 36 dedicated years. She is survived by her loving and devoted partner of many years, Vance Cottenden; daughters Tara and Rachel; son Conor; grandson Tyler Clarke; brothers Christopher (Peggy Cornett) of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Nick (Randi Shupe) of Halifax; dearest cousin Joan (Larry) Last, Nepean, Ontario; niece Sarah Morash and nephew John Morash. She is also survived by numerous friends and colleagues who generously shared their love and support over these last few months. Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax. There will be no visitation. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
