Infirmary, QEII. Born in Ballisodare, Ireland, she was the only daughter of the late Charles
Bradshaw and Eva Leona (Garnier) Stone.
She came to Canada as an infant to live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her husband’s job took the
family to many places in the Maritimes – Dartmouth, NS; Charlottetown, PEI; Sydney River and
Sydney, NS; before finally settling in Halifax.
She is survived by her son C. Bruce (Catherine T.); daughter M. Catherine; and grandson
Patrick C., as well as her special family of Chum, Shirley (Legere), Paul (Nancy Van Eyk), and
Heather (Stuart Norris) Johnson.
She was predeceased by her husband, whom she married in 1951, William Francis (Frank).
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service and burial has taken place in St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, Enfield, NS.
