Mary Gertrude (nee Mader) Quigley

Mary attended the Halifax Ladies College, and the Conservatory of Music. Music and dance were always an important part of Mary’s life. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Ashburn golf Club and Mayflower Curling Club, where lifetime friendships were made. Mary danced with the Buchta Dancers on Don Messer’s Jubilee.

Mary and her beloved husband, Warren, spent many hours entertaining, especially bridge games, where Mary was an avid player. Mary and Warren spent time traveling to Europe, Florida and the Caribbean.

Mary was pre-deceased by her husband, Warren and is survived by son Robert (Karin), Vienna, Austria; and daughter Gayle (Terry), Eastern Passage.

The family is extremely grateful to the kindness and care provided by Mary’s caregivers, most especially David and Donna, as well as Paula, Alexa and Home Instead and Earth Angels.

Cremation has taken place and to honour Mary’s wishes, there is no visitation or service.
