Mary Theresa Turnbull

Born in Antigonish, Antigonish Co, NS, she is the adopted daughter of Frank and Ruth Doyle.

Theresa was an avid knitter who loved making blankets. She was a CNA for over 30 years and started the St. John Ambulance Station at the Airport.

She is survived by her husband Philip (Junior) Turnbull, Halifax, daughter, Christine Elizabeth Turnbull, Spryfield, son, Philip Francis (PJ) Turnbull, Halifax, from her 1st marriage Andrew Coakley, Ontario and Billy Joe Coakley, Alberta, adopted sisters, Karen Landry Lower Sackville, birth sisters Patricia, Ontario, Anne Marie MacDonald, Guysborough, Brenda Murphy, Halifax. Predeceased by her adopted parents Frank and Ruth Doyle, in-laws Philip and Shirley Turnbull, son Brian, adopted brothers, Jerry Doyle, Eddie Doyle.

Thanks to Dr. Manning and the nurses on 8.2 for how great they treated Theresa. Also the staff of 9th Floor Abbie Lane where she spent her final hours. As a family we respect their total professionalism and they went the extra mile to ensure my wifes final days were as good as possible.
