Mathew's life was ended far too soon, he was deeply loved by all his family and will be missed every day until we meet again.
Intensely shy and private, Mathew was an extremely kind, innocent and gentle soul. Mathew was extraordinarily intelligent and had an effortlessly broad understanding of countless subjects. He will be remembered for these, along with many other unique and genuine traits that made him the very special person he was.
Mathew is survived by his father Thomas Crewe, brother Mitchell Crewe, mother Lavada Whidden, stepdad Calvin Whidden, stepsisters Caroline Whidden and Christina Whidden, stepbrothers Stuart Whidden and Samuel Whidden, grandmother Anne Crewe, grandmother Patricia Brodie, and several cousins, aunts and uncles.

There will be no visitation. A private service will be held for family only.
