

Born in Halifax, March 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Willliam A. White and Edith M. (O’Neill) White. She was predeceased by her loving husband H.C. "Bud" Kingsbury; siblings, William A. White Jr., Mary Doyle, Clarence White and Raymond White, and her daughter, Lyn Kirk.
Maureen leaves behind her children, Lee Paul (Michael), Robert (JoAnne), Patrick (Tami), son-in-law, Barry Kirk, and sister ,Jennetta Ewert. Grandchildren: Tonya Baillie, Tara Sampson, Heather Armsworthy, Kailee Algee, Grace Kingsbury, John Kingsbury, and Olivia Kingsbury. Great-grandchildren: Lynsey, Kelly, Will, Mairi, Sammi, Kaycee, and Dayva. Great-great-grandsons, Colton and Weston, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Maureen was a member of the Joe Howe Society, the Saraguay Club, and Oakfield Golf and Country Club. She loved cooking, baking, entertaining, and spreading love to all who walked through her door. Working with her sister Jennetta at The Flower Shoppe lead to her artistic flair for flower arranging. She also enjoyed painting, music, and interior decorating.
Maureen loved to travel, visiting many places here and abroad with Bud and the Telephone Pioneers of America. They enjoyed their spring vacations in Florida with friends and family.
Maureen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 23rd, 6-8 pm at JA Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, where the service will be held Friday, November 24th at 2:00 pm, reception to follow. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
