Coombs, Michael Thomas “Coombsie”. My name is Coombsie, I was born in Spryfield on Feb 13th 1975. I grew up and met many many wonderful friends who became just like family to me. I worked at the Spryfield Lions rink starting out as a rink rat in 1989 and continued my career learning how to perfectly making ice from my hero Uncle Sonny. The day my life began was when my son Blake Harvey was born. There are no words to express how proud I was to say he was my son. There was another very special person in my life, my nephew Tay…please remember all the things we talked about bud, I always enjoyed your company. I lived for 38 years, most of them were spent on the ball fields and rinks surrounded with an abundant amount of close friends and good times. I was predeceased by my maternal grandparents Janet and Ronald Sampson and Mr. Michael S. Coombs.
Visitation will be held on Thursday March 7th, 2013 from 3-5 and 6-8pm at JA Snow Funeral Home 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax NS B3S0E1 (455-0531). Funeral will be on Friday, March 8th at 2pm.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA.
