Pasquale Giovanni "John" Gasparetto

GASPARETTO, Pasquale Giovanni "John"— 66, born April 17, 1943, in S.S. Angeli del Montello, Treviso,Italy, passed away on Thursday,October 1, 2009, surrounded by his family, in the Palliative Care Unit of the VG Site, QEII. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Emanuela; sisters, Norina (Claudio), Brookside; Rosetta,Bruna, Ada(Bruno), Letizia (Gianni), all of Treviso, Italy; brothers, Renato (Pam), Danilo(Mara), both of Black Point; Ado (Edria), Treviso,Italy; many beloved nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews in Canada and in Italy. He immigrated to Halifax in 1963 and worked hard all of his life in construction. He enjoyed working in his garden and hunting whenever possible. He truly will be missed by his loved ones. Visitation will be held Monday, October 5, from 7-9 p.m. in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, October 6, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, North Street, Halifax, Father Roberto Donato officiating. Family flowers only.
